Southern Santa of Houston County is committed to bringing hope, joy, and relief to children and families in need throughout our community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to provide Christmas gifts, essential resources, and compassionate support to families facing hardship while fostering a spirit of generosity, unity, and service. Through the dedication of our volunteers, community partners, and donors, we strive to ensure that every child experiences the magic of Christmas and every family knows they are valued, supported, and never alone.
Southern Santa of Houston County – 2026 Impact Update

As we continue serving our community, we wanted to share what Southern Santa of Houston County has accomplished so far this year.
73 individuals assisted after devastating house fires
3 individuals assisted following domestic trauma situations
9 dogs cared for and assisted
2 cats cared for and assisted
1 guinea pig assisted
1 cat rescued from a tree on Santa Ladder 4
2 firefighter funerals supported by providing one of our privately owned fire engines as the casket caisson vehicle
6 deployment trips to assist during the Brantley County wildfires, where more than 200 homes were destroyed, approximately 150 residents were directly displaced after losing their homes in the early stages of the disaster, and up to 2,500 people were temporarily displaced during peak mandatory evacuations.
Every one of these responses has been made possible because of our incredible volunteers, generous donors, and supportive community. We are a 100% volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and every donation, every share, and every act of kindness allows us to continue helping families, first responders, and communities during their most difficult moments.
